AA Pub Guide:
"You can dine by candlelight from the restaurant menu at this 16th-century village pub with low beams and huge open log fire. Alternatively you'll find lunchtime savouries like Welsh or Scottish rarebits alongside the sandwiches and jackets. A bar menu offers everything from starters and healthy options to flame grills, house favourites, and specials like chargrilled half chicken peri peri and beef bourguignon. Beers include guest ales, and the wine list is commendably unpretentious."

"The Queen Inn is located in the centre of the beautiful, picture postcard village of Dummer in Hampshire.
The perfect country escape yet only ½ a mile from J7 of the M3 and less than 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of busy Basingstoke.
It is a perfect venue for all whether you are looking for a great pint, an informal bar meal or a special dinner in our a la carte restaurant.
The Queen Inn has everything to offer for those searching for the best in olde world English pubs, from a cosy bar with a roaring log fire to a charming enclosed beer garden and an atmospheric restaurant.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. No other word to describe the place.
went here for the second time last week. The food was first class, the staff great. The pub has a wonderful atmosphere. My third visit is just around the corner!!!!
Found this pub getting off the M3 a junction too early. Had a great meal. Lovely Traditional Pub. Have been back three times since. The Steaks are a must have."

"Just to let you know we tried this place out on Sunday for lunch, the Queen Inn in Dummer, just off junction 7 on the M3, it was fabulous, the Sunday roasts were huge with plentiful helping of vegetables in separate serving dishes, and very reasonable, I had a fantastic mushroom stroganoff with garlic bread and it was very reasonable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a fantastic window seat by the huge roaring fire, I would recommend this place highly, thanks Sarn for first bringing it to my attention. Very reasonably priced - I would suggest you get there early if anybody plans to go as it got very busy!"
YELP:
"I absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere is "typical English pub", but when you are visiting from the United States, as I was, it was exactly what I wanted. The Queen is full of life, has a warm atmosphere, cozy corner tables and seating options, a lot of unique charm, a good name, great food, great service, and really great company too. I want to go back every night. Ok, maybe not every night, but I definitely want to go back. The parking situation is good too-- convenient, close, and easy to park in. They don't serve food for long though, so you have to be quick and calculated about when you go (e.g. 7PM-9PM only on Sunday)."
